Schumer would not allow ICE do what they do now (yes, I know that ICE existed before and illegal deportations were happening before, but not in such scale and such aggression, it’s incomparable). Nowadays any hispanic person, citizen or not, cannot feel safe outside and even inside their homes. You folks just need more than two parties. If Newsome gets nominated, left-wing Dems should break away and organize a new party. Moderate conservatives would probably too, considering how trump’s ratings flop. Then your people would finally have a choice
